Peljesac Wine Country is about much more than wine. Discover rich history, amazing landscapes and medieval architecture, and indulge in local wine and food during this half day morning tour.
You will enjoy beautiful hilly landscape of Dubrovnik Riviera as you make your way to Peljesac Peninsula, Croatia’s most renowned wine making region. We will put this reputation to the test immediately, as the first stop on Peljesac will be one of the local family owned wineries where we will be introduced to the process of wine making and do some tasting as well. After the winery, we are off to visit historical town of Ston, one of the most interesting and charming towns on this part of Croatian coast. Here you will have a chance of visiting the impressive Ston City Walls – one of the longest defensive walls still standing in the World. After a short tour of the city we will enjoy a traditional local light lunch known as “marenda” where you will be introduced to some of this area’s favourite foods.
Take a trip outside of Dubrovnik and away from the crowds and get to know this magnificent area that charmed people for centuries. This is your perfect introduction to Peljesac Peninsula and the traditions it is known for today.
